Day 22 L'Anse aux Meadows

It was a short drive from St Anthony to the Viking RV Park in Quirpon. Drove into Quirpon, not much here but did have a nice view of and iceberg at the mouth of the cove. Look close you can see it.

After lunch we went to The L'Anse aux Meadows visitor center. On the way we got to see another moose. This time we have pictures to prove it.

Took the ranger tour and seen a second moose in the distance. The park ranger was just child (1960) when they discovered the viking remains here. He had lots of stories about those time and the people involved. The village is a reconstruction of part of what they believe was here long ago.
